HOW I BECAME AN INTERNATIONALLY PUBLISHED CONCERT AND TOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
I’ve worked on tech for as long as I can remember, but photography always captivated me as the perfect hobby. Some years ago I moved to the United States and a world of new opportunities opened up for me. Down the path of life the time came when I felt I needed some life balance and without thinking twice I picked up my first camera.
My lifelong passion for music slowly drove me into concert photo-journalism. It wasn’t easy at the beginning, but perseverance always pays off (For those who like all the details I wrote a long post about how my perennial affection for music led me to pursue the path of concert photography, you can check it out here). I’ve been fortunate enough to have the opportunity of working with some amazing bands, artists, PR agents, venues, record labels, concert promoters, and magazines from every corner of the world, and my shots have been published internationally and graced countless online articles as part of my press and photo coverage for music events.
It’s not only about talent. Even if you are satisfied with your photos and take great ones – there’s always room for improvement. I focus every day on expanding my knowledge and inspiration by practicing and stepping out of my comfort zone, for me that’s the key to achieve and maintain a relevant body of work.
Countless hours of testing and trying new post-processing tools and techniques: that’s how I developed my personal, precise and highly well-organized workflow, which allows me to process and deliver your finished images in a suitable manner, meeting your time expectations with ease.
Experience is a word that we all know, but I can tell you now, you don’t actually know it’s meaning until you’ve done it. With countless covered events under my belt, and supervising the official photographic duties for prestigious North American Festivals like RoSfest, ProgPower USA, and ProgStock, you can rest assured your pictures are in good hands.
